I am very proud to announce that one of AtlantaBridal's long-time (since 2002!) Preferred Atlanta Wedding Calligraphers, Dreamweaver Calligraphy, was selected to design props for the new hit television show, Vampire Diaries, which is filming here in the Atlanta area.
Maren Nicholas, owner and calligrapher, first had to send the show's propmaster 5 signatures of what she thought the two vampire boys might have written their names like in the 1600's. The props team picked the two signatures they liked best and then asked Maren to design the Founding Fathers of Mystic Falls, VA document which is pictured here and featured on the television show. Not only did Maren design the document but she also had to make up signatures for about 75 other people whose names also appeared on the document.
In addition to this, Maren made placecards that were on display at the founding fathers party to show what artifacts had been donated or on loan from what families.
