Nanci Altman with Simple Elegance does a wonderful job from the initial consultation to the
day of the wedding. Before we met with Nanci for the initial consultation, she asked
questions to determine what flower design we might be interested in for the wedding. At
the consultation, she had made a sample bridesmaid bouquet for us to see. By no means
were we locked into this bouquet, but it gave us a springboard to work off of for all of the
wedding flowers. The day of the wedding she arrived on time and worked to make the entire
venue look beautiful. Nanci isn't going to be the cheapest florist, but you will get your
money's worth in the quality and uniqueness of her work! You won't be disappointed.

Nanci did a fantastic job at my wedding and I couldn't have asked for
more gorgeous flower arrangements. I knew from our first meeting that
she would be great when she had put together some mock-up arrangements
soley from a phone conversation, and they were exactly what I wanted.
She used unique flower combos including orchids and birds of paradise
that fit my wedding location perfectly. She helped to make sure
everything was set up correctly and even helped pin the flowers on the
guys so the looked just right. I really enjoyed working with her and
would recommend her to anyone.

Nanci was a great part of my wedding planning team. My husband and I both
enjoyed working with her throughout the planning process. She talked with me
and learned about my style and what kind of wedding we were having and offered
solutions based on our needs. Most importantly, when I told her my idea of
recreating my mother's bouquet from 1967, she embraced the idea and ran with
it. It turned out better than I'd ever expected! I had to worry about nothing with
my flowers. Nanci even showed up to deliver the flowers, made sure each person
knew how to carry them and the guys were pinned correctly. She was like part of
our family! I would absolutely recommend Nanci and look forward to working with

Nanci was wonderful. She not only did the flowers, but she decorated the reception
site with the items we had previously purchased. The bride was in another state
and we were planning for her mostly. Nanci was very patient even after we missed
a scheduled meeting with her. On the day of the wedding, Nanci showed up with
her flowers and handed them to each person they belonged to. Not only that, but
she was very accomodating. The arrangements were awesome and brought the
whole venue out in a spectacular way. The roses and sunflowers made us all
beam. I would recomment Nanci to anyone that wants fresh flowers at their best!

Working with Nanci was a great experience and I would recommend her services
to everyone! When first calling her on the phone we discussed what colors and
flowers I had in mind and when we went to meet with her, she already had 2
sample bouquets put together! I definitely wasn't expecting to have those to look
at but they really helped me decide on what I wanted. She had great ideas and
really helped me pick flowers that ultimately made our wedding perfect! I was
extremely impressed with her service the day of the wedding! She stayed until
every last detail with the flowers were taken care of. She made sure all of the
boutonnieres were pinned on and that all of the bouquets looked perfect. She also
provided our cake flowers and those were gorgeous as well. Overall it was a great
experience and I truly enjoyed working with Nanci! I would highly recommed her.

Nanci was hands down the best vendor I worked with during my wedding. She is professional yet very down to earth and so easy to work with. I did not worry about her for a minute because she called several times just to go over everthing with me to make sure we were on the same page. From the first meeting with her, I knew that she was the best florist in Atlanta! She had a sample bouquet with the colors I was using for my wedding and also had a few arragements so I could get an idea of what to expect. She also met me at the location of my wedding because she had not worked there before and wanted to get a feel for what she needed - what other florist does that? I have been to a lot of weddings and I have to say that I had the best flowers of any wedding I have ever attended. She is so talented and I would recommend her to anyone. I would recommend Nanci to absolutely anyone getting married in Atlanta - she went so far above and beyond the mental picture I had, it was worth every penny!! From the start, I had complete confidence that Nanci would do a great job, so it was really nice to book her, tell her what I had in mind, and then sit back and not worry about it again. She made sure my cake looked great, and threw in plenty of extra finishing touches - I was so thrilled!
I really felt like Nanci understood what I wanted, but she also had her own suggestions to give, since I really wasn't very experienced in picking out flowers (who knew there were so many shades of white roses?). She also made a sample bouquet to give to me at our first meeting, which was a great sales pitch!

The candlelabras were beautifully decorated with greenery. The table arrangements for the reception were absolutely beautiful as well with a beautiful mixture of flowers. I can’t say enough about Nanci. We actually found her here on AtlantaBridal.com, and gave her a call based on the reviews we saw here. I’m so glad we did! When I first spoke with her, she asked me about the colors I expected for the wedding and the type of bouquets I wanted for me and my bridesmaids. When my mom and I finally met with her, she had put together a bouquet that was absolutely perfect for my bridesmaids, and sent it home with us. One great thing is that she gave us her estimate before we walked out the door. She was also able to work with us up to a couple weeks before the wedding to make some last-minute adjustments to the bridesmaids’ bouquets and additions to the corsage and boutonniere lists.
The flowers for the wedding were absolutely gorgeous! We had so many compliments, too. My bouquet is still in the fridge, all dried out, but I can’t bring myself to throw it out! (I would have preserved it if I had somewhere to keep it.) Everyone else was thrilled with the flowers, too. Everything was just perfect… the bridesmaids’ bouquets, the boutonnieres, the corsages and everything at the reception.
I would recommend Nanci to anyone looking for a great, easy-to-work-with florist! She’s been doing this for years, and it shows!

When we arrived at the meeting, she had samples made and even sent me home with a bridal bouquet. At the ceremony, she added extra touches on the pews and unity candle, even though we had not discussed doing this. She saw that chruch needed some final touches here and there and she did it. From the first moment of talking to Nanci on the phone, she seemed so interested in what we wanted for the wedding. When we arrived at her house for the consultation, she had samples made up for us to see. And behold, she had exactly what we wanted. When we did not think we knew what we wanted, she was able to give wonderful suggestions that went along with the feel of the wedding that we were looking for. The day of the wedding, she was as excited as we were and was so involved with making sure that everything was the way we wanted it. The church had left some greenery on the alter and she transformed it before our eyes. And was very attentive to the everyone in the wedding party, making sure that corsages and buttonaires were exactly right. We had so many complements on the flowers! Nanci Altman of Simple Elegance Florals provided flowers for my October 16th wedding. After one phone call with Nanci, I wanted to meet her to see her work. What a great pleasure! Not only did she show me a beautiful portfolio of her past weddings, but she took great pride to give me a sample bride’s bouquet, several table designs, and boutonnieres. From the phone consultation alone, Nanci knew what I wanted and created it to help me send pictures to my sister and to show my fiancé. I left Nanci’s knowing that she was the one!
On my wedding day, I was so pleased and happy: no surprises, no unknowns…..Nanci completely met all of my expectations with the floral design, and she exceeded my hopes by staying at the church until the last, late groomsman showed up to personally pin on his boutonniere. I cannot say enough good things about Nanci and Simple Elegance Florals! Nanci was so easy to work with and she was so enthusiastic about helping me pick out the perfect flowers for my wedding. I had a fall-themed wedding and she made suggestions that I never would have thought of myself; it's like she was able to read my mind, even though I was unable to vocalize my own vision. Her guidance was amazing. The bouquets turned out to be gorgeous. My bridesmaids even commented that their bouquets were their favorite out of any wedding they had been in or seen--and three of them were married themselves! My bouquet was perfect for me, as well. The table arrangements at the reception were stunning, even better than I had pictured in my head. Again, Nanci was wonderful to work with, even down to the little details like helping the men pin their boutonnieres. All this and her prices still fit my budget. I would highly recommend Simple Elegance Florals to anyone and everyone!

Nanci Altman of Simple Elegance Florals provided flowers for my October 16th wedding. After one phone call with Nanci, I wanted to meet her to see her work. What a great pleasure! Not only did she show me a beautiful portfolio of her past weddings, but she took great pride to give me a sample bride’s bouquet, several table designs, and boutonnieres. From the phone consultation alone, Nanci knew what I wanted and created it to help me send pictures to my sister and to show my fiancé. I left Nanci’s knowing that she was the one!
On my wedding day, I was so pleased and happy: no surprises, no unknowns…..Nanci completely met all of my expectations with the floral design, and she exceeded my hopes by staying at the church until the last, late groomsman showed up to personally pin on his boutonniere. Nanci’s personal touch is apparent in everything she did to provide beautiful flowers for our wedding and reception. So many of my friends and family and guests at the wedding have specifically commented on how beautiful our flowers were. I have wonderful pictures and fond memories of our special day and the flowers from Simple Elegance Florals accent all of these! I think I can pretty much keep this short and sweet. Nanci gave me exactly what I didn't know I wanted. :) Basically, in the addition of one extra type of flower, she created for me the most beautiful bouquet I could have imagined! We had absolutely no trouble with her at any point, for any reason. Her price is incredibly reasonable and the only thing that even kind of upsets me is that my flowers are finally dying and my home no longer looks like a garden. I c ould not recommend Nanci and Simple Elegance enough. The name really does say it all.

Nanci with Simple Elegance Florals did a fantastic job on my wedding flowers. She is very creative and was able to take my ideas and tie them together to make the perfect centerpieces and bouquets. I was looking for something a bit different and creative and that is exactly what she delivered. She also did the flowers for one of my friends and my sister in law which wanted a more traditional look and both of theirs turned out beautiful. I would highly suggest calling her to any bride.

Nanci was awesome, and the flowers were beautiful. She knew exactly what I wanted. All she had to go on was a black and white picture I had printed out from the internet, but after telling her my colors and what I wanted, she got it exactly right! She even had a few samples that she had thrown together before our first meeting, just from the information I had given her over the phone. The flowers were all there, ready and on time at the church. I wouldn't have changed a thing!

Nanci helped to make our wedding day an absolute dream come true. From the moment my mom and I met her, we adored her. The flowers for our wedding were absolutely beautiful. When planning our wedding, I searched every Martha Stewart magazine and Colin Cowie book for the perfect flowers. Once I found Nancy Altman, I realized I did not need pictures. She had the ability to create elegant beautiful arrangements personalized for our wedding. Nancy designed table arrangements (using tall silver candelabras), beautiful bouquets, corsages, flower girl halo, elaborate flowers for our cake and a huge arch covered in hydrangea, roses and lilies. Nancy was able to listen to what we wanted and create the perfect flowers for our wedding. She genuinely wanted to make our day special. I never realized how important flowers were until the day of the wedding. The strong pungent scent of all the flowers made our reception smell wonderful. I highly recommend Nancy Altman to anyone seeking a florist for their wedding.

Our first meeting with Nanci the florist was wonderful. She had asked me what type of flower arrangements & colors I was looking for. With all the decisions going on, I had no idea what type of flowers or arrangements to start with. I only knew the colors. Once we arrived at Nanci's, she showed us a few arrangements she had just "thrown together". My Mom & I were thrilled. Not only were they the exact right color (shade of purple) but they were simple and elegant and exactly what we were looking for. She then suggested we continue to look thru the books and portfolios she had to be sure that is what we wanted & needed.
She has been involved in the business for a number of years, so she had tons of suggestions and money saving tips for us.
The day of the wedding, she was there early to decorate our cake, archway and the place card table. Everything was beautiful. When the photographer snuck me and the girls to the reception location to get our pictures done before the wedding, I almost cried! It was so beautiful and exactly what I had always dreamed of. She did an amazing job!
