Flint Hill was the ideal wedding venue! As a busy professional, I
had no intention of being a "DIY" bride, yet I had to entrust
someone to pull off the perfect wedding. The amazing and talented
staff listened to every idea my husband and I were trying to acheive
and went above and beyond our wildest dreams. The beautiful home
couldn't have looked more lovely in our custom-designed flowers and
decor, and guests are still raving about the delicious food and
cake. Imagine our delight when we realized that all of this was
actually affordable?!?

I am giving Flint Hill because...
Flint Hill really made my dreams come true! Our wedding was perfect
from the exquisite floral designs and beautiful cake from their design
department to the seamless flow of the ceremony and reception. The
wedding coordinator was wonderful! She took care of everything on our
wedding day so that my husband and I didn't have to worry about
anything. All of our guests had an excellent time and commented on how
beautiful everything looked and how delicious the food was.

We are giving Flint Hill because...
Flint Hill was amazing to work with! We had both our ceremony and
reception there, and even with a last-minute move to inside due to the
weather, everything went like clockwork. Their staff listened to our
ideas and executed them beautifully all while staying within our budget.
The food was perfect and the flowers were stunning. There isn't a thing
we would have changed and it all came together even better than we could
have imagined. Flint Hill made our day perfect!

We are giving Flint Hill because...
Loved Flint Hill! The setting is so pretty! They made my wedding
stress free. The design dept was very nice. After my initial meeting
with them I came across a picture on the internet of a centerpiece I
liked. I emailed it to the designer, & she worked with me to create a
similar design. It looked beautiful! The other staff I dealt with were
also professional. The day of coordinator was great! She ensured
everything ran smoothly, & she was never pushy. My husband & I didn't
have to think about anything! Anytime we needed to do something (cut
cake, etc.) she was right there directing & helping us. Everything ran
so smoothly!
The food was amazing! We were very impressed with everything we had,
and we got compliments from many of our guests. We had the turkey &
ham at the carving station & loved it. They packed us a "to go" bag at
the end of the night with all of the food from the reception along
with a very nice note.

We are giving Flint Hill because...
Flint Hill (Magic Moments) provided the catering, decor, and cake for our wedding (ceremony and reception) and all of these services met and in certain areas, exceeded
our expectations. My husband and I are were not the traditional 'one fits all/ cookie
cutter' couple and Flint Hill rose to the challenge of working with us ( despite some
cultural differences with my being English) to ensure our vision for our special day was
exactly as we imagined! The design team are GREAT and did not try to deter a
detailed orientated bride like myself from pushing the boundaries for something
different. All of our guests from around the globe loved everything about the day and
Flint Hill played a huge part in achieving that! We had an absolute blast!

Flint Hill did such a great job of making sure every detail of your
big day is taken care of as best as possible. If you request it, it is
done! The staff is so helpful and the wedding coordinator makes
everything run so smoothly without you having to worry about a thing!
We absolutely loved our flowers! Every detail of our vision was
included and even some of the details We forgot we had planned, they
didn't forget! We highly recommend using Flint Hill. The cost is
incredible for what you get on your unforgettable day. Thank you Flint

We are giving Flint Hill because...
My husband and I were married at Flint Hill on 3/13/2010 and we
would highly recommend it to anyone!! From the moment we toured
Flint Hill, we knew it was the place that would make our dreams for
our wedding day come true! We loved that we could handle so many of
our wedding planning needs in one place including the ceremony, the
reception, the food and beverages, the wedding cake and the
flowers. Each piece was perfect and made our day everything we
could have asked for and more! Every one of our guests have
complimented us on our "perfect" wedding and many have called it the
best wedding they've ever attended. We hope you enjoy your day as

I am giving Flint Hill because...
I was able to have the most beautiful and yet, peaceful wedding, thanks to Flint Hill and their accommodating staff. Everyone raved about the quality of food, the decor, and the flow of the day. I was mentally and emotionally present and able to live in the moment because I didn't have to worry about the details. Everyone told me that my wedding day would be great, but: 1) I wouldn't get to eat. 2) I wouldn't get to talk to my new husband. 3) I wouldn't get to dance and enjoy myself because it would go by too fast. None of these
things were true for me because of the services Flint Hill provides!
If I had to do it over again, I would make the exact same decision.

I am giving Flint Hill because...
I can't express how perfect our wedding was, thanks to Flint Hill.
They handled the cake, catering, flowers, decor, and the
ceremony/reception (including wedding planner/director). It was
even more beautiful than I could have imagined, and our guests are
still raving about it! The food was really good (not just "good for
a wedding"). We had a red velvet cake, and not only was it the best
wedding cake we've ever had, but the best red velvet cake we've
had! The chocolate decadence table is a must! They also include
lots of extra little touches, like having the bride and groom eat in
privacy, so we could share our first meal as husband and wife, and
providing a picnic basket so we didn't have to think about food
later. The wedding director handles everything, so that we could
just enjoy our wedding. I would highly recommend them to any couple
looking for a stress-free perfect wedding day!

I am giving Flint Hill because...
I recently got married at and had my reception at Flint Hill. They
helped me plan my wedding from the moment I reserved my date. The
wedding coordinators and design team listened to all of my ideas and
gave me a truly special wedding. I could not have even imagined how
perfect and stress free my wedding day was. My photographer got a
little lost and the wedding coordinator got my phone and got the
photographer there on time. The DJ was late and the wedding
coordinator did not let me worry a bit. I would highly recommend
getting married or at least having your reception at Flint Hill!

Flint Hill was awesome from the begining to the end. Our wedding day
was "magical". From the beautiful flowers to the food. Everything
was Great. Flint Hill staff really does make your day special. You
have nothing to worry about. The satff is very accomadating making
sure you as the bride and groom are content. They are very timely.
Our wedding day was Great. We could not have asked for a better
facility to host this important day of our lives. To this day, we
are still getting compliments from our guest about how beautiful
everything was and how delicious the food was. Our wedding
coordinator was Awesome as well. I truly reccommend Flint Hill to
future brides!!!

I was highly satisfied with my recent wedding recepton at Flint
Hill. From the beginning, the staff was very accomodating and
coordinated with my other vendors to create a perfect and beautiful
event. The house and grounds are amazing at night and make for
unforgettable memories and pictures. The food was very delicious and
there was a wide array of options to choose from. I highly recommend
this facility to other brides.

Overall, our ceremony and reception was a "magical" experience!
Everyone at Flint Hill pays attention to detail - small and large.
When our guests walked into Flint Hill, they were surprised to see
the framed pictures and momentos from our personal collection. Once
our guests stepped outside and saw the beautifully decorated gazebo,
they felt at peace with the soft white lights, brandywine, long
tulle, and bright bold flowers. The overall presentation of the food
was superb too! The mashed potatoes were displayed in a design
fashion - I believe floral. the herb roasted chicken was tasty too.
Everyone loved the rum-flavored bread - It was so moist, it tasted
like cake. My husband and I come from families of big eaters - our
families were given plenty of food on their plates for a sitdown
meal. If you are planning on hosting your wedding at Flint Hill, you
will definitely have a "magical" experience!!!!

Flint Hill was the PERFECT location for our wedding! We absolutely
loved the staff, food, decor, and all the amenities that were
provided. Our guest said it was the best wedding that they had ever
been to. It was a beautiful day! We had an outdoor wedding on March
21, 2009 with an indoor cocktail buffet. It was a beautiful time of
year and such a relaxing day for us. Flint Hill did all that they
could to ensure that we were well taken care of and wanted for
nothing! I would not change anything about my wedding day! It could
not have been any more perfect.

From the moment we visited Flint Hill, my husband and I knew we had
found our wedding venue. From that point, all of interactions with
the office team and wedding staff confirmed our decision. The
wedding was "the cherry on top of the icing." Everything was above
and beyond our expectations and, most importantly, those of our
family members and friends: the ambience, the food and other
refreshment, the assistance, and flexibility.
For us - and this is most important - Flint Hill was home for the
five (5) hours we spent there. And, it was home for our families and
friends, who are still raving about it. For these reasons and so
many more, we recommend Flint Hill without reservation.

I had my ceremony and reception at Flinthill. I was happy with the
service and the care they took to help me organize the wedding of my
dreams. The grounds looked beautiful, especially at night. My guest
were so impressed with the site, service, and especially the food.
Things ran very smoothly from begining to end. All the consultations
were very organized and professional. It was very nice to not have
to contract out services because everything was offered by
Flinthill.Food, drinks, decor, and flowers were all in house. The
results were absolutely wonderful.

as we run our own full time wedding videography business, as we can
honestly say that our wedding at Flint Hill was the only one we've

I am giving Flint Hill because...
My Husband and I got married at Flint Hill this past Spring. It was a wonderful experience! We
went in with no direction and weren't sure exactly what we wanted our wedding to look like
and the staff at Flint Hill helped us figure all that out in a few simple visits. It was a little
expensive but worth the stress relief to us. The food was out of this world and the cake is still
in our freezer waiting until our first anniversary!
There were a few things like it would have been nice to have more time to prepare and have
pictures and there are a lot of things that are "extra" but nothing compared to how happy we
were with he outcome of the wedding.

I used Flint Hill for the ceremony and reception. I also utilized
there Design Department. The staff made things as easy as
possbile. The planners and consultants were great. So helpful and
knowledgeable. They do right and they do it right the first time!
My guests are still raving about the great food and cake. It was all
so yummy! And the presentation is just as great. Flint Hill has
mastered many of the little things that you don't really think about
but need to be taken care of. Like cleaning the cake serving set
and toasting flutes, a take-away bag of food for the bride and
groom. The staff assisted my parent's with all the little details
after we had left for the night and made sure it was an enjoyable
event for them as well. It was totally stressfree. I knew Flint
Hill and Magic Moments (the design department) would make my wedding
feel like MY wedding.

I am giving Flint Hill because...
Flint Hill was the perfect choice for my wedding. The wedding planner
and consultant we had were quick to answer all questions and had ample
availability for our meetings. The food was excellent. Our favorite by
far was the sea food fondue--it was AMAZING! My favorite thing of all
was our cake. Our 3-tiered cake was pound cake with butter cream
frosting and it was phenomenal. My husband and I couldn't even wait a
year to eat the top of the cake, if that tells you anything. The
flowers were stunning, fresh, and exactly what I had discussed in my
meeting with the florist (they were also surprisingly affordable). As
for the day as a whole, I was treated like a queen. Everything was
taken care of so the wedding party could relax and enjoy the day.
Everything is considered and cared for by the Flint Hill staff. It was
an absolutely picture perfect day. I COMPLETELY recommend them for
your wedding. They will make it a more special day than you could have
ever imagine!

My husband and I highly recommend Flint Hill. We got married On April
19, 2008. They were so well organized when helping us plan our special
day. They made us feel confident that everything was taken care of and
it was. From the flowers and decor to the food and the cake we could
not have wished for anything more. It was perfect!
We also found our photographer, Carl Nelson, at one of the Bridal
Showcases that Flint Hill held. He captured every angle of the wedding
as if it were a movie! He was also great to work with and has lots of
experience at Flint Hill.

I would highly recommend the flint hill to anyone. We had our
wedding ceremony and reception back in September 2008. Everything
was perfect from the staff to the food to the decor. The staff will
helf you with not taking over your special day. The food was
excellent and people are telling me still its the best food they had
ever had at a wedding. The floral and design department out did
themselves with the beautiful flowers and decor. Thanks flint hill
for making our wedding such a special and memorable ocassion.

I am giving Flint Hill because...
I dreamt about having my wedding at Flint Hill ever since I was a
flower girl in a wedding that took place there back in the 80's. Not
only is it a beautiful location but Magic Moments, Inc. did an
incredible job helping me plan the big day. They set up dates for me
to meet with a florist, caterer, etc. And really made my wedding day
stress free. My own wedding planner was there the day of the wedding
and made sure everything went as planned. The food was delicious, the
decorations were beautiful and the staff was amazing. I definitly
recommend Flint Hill to anyone who wants to see their dream wedding
come true!

My wedding was at Primrose Cottage and they did all of our flowers. They did a fantastic job! When I first met with them I was so clueless about what I wanted. During our planning session they were great about helping me pick out the flowers. I was not disappointed, everything turned out so beautiful!

We are giving Flint Hill because...
Magic Moments only misses the 5-star rating because they made one small mistake with our bouquets - they should have put sheer ribbon ties on them and these were left off. However, they offered to do this after photographs were already taken, but we declined since it was getting too close to the ceremony for that (we felt). The flowers were stunning. The color and the quality was beyond compare. Bouquets put together by this group are worth preservation and that is exactly what we are doing with the bride's bouquet. For quality and excellence in design, we strongly recommend this floral design team.
