I ordered a red velvet cake from bakers man. I live in seattle and
our wedding was in atlanta. Throughtout the process - Mark was very
accomodating for our needs. He sent us a refrigerated SAMPLE pack
all the way to seattle so we can choose our flavors. He was
responsive. The cake was just what i envisioned and looked
ABSOLUTELY gorgeous. The cake was tasty as well - we actually
already finished our one year topper :).

Mark, of Bakers Man Inc, was a life saver. I was giving the bride
and groom a wedding cake as my gift to them. I needed a wedding cake
in a hurry and he got it to me in 5 days. He recommended wonderful
ideas for the cake's decor and flavors and was right on point. He
even added an extra tier making the low budget wedding look
fabulous. He was very prompt with his response to my request and
questions and his prices are unbeatable. The cake was beautiful and
tasted wonderful and I will certainly use him for any other future
occasions. I highly recommend this baker!

I am giving Baker's Man Inc. because...
Mark Brickman is an amazing baker and cake designer. The cakes not only look gorgeous,
but taste wonderful! We used Mark Brickman for the bridal and groom cake. The bridal
cake had many sugar flower petals scattered all over the cake. All of the petals looked like
real flower petals. He also designed a schnauzer made of gumpaste that was eating one of
the flowers. For the groom's cake, he designed a sushi cake. The actual cake was a sheet
cake with fondant over it that looked like a wooden plank. Sushi rolls, made of gumpaste,
were placed on top of the plank. Guests thought it was real sushi. The cakes also tasted
phenomenal! The groom's cake was a raspberry marble cake with key lime filling, while
the bridal cake was strawberry marble and white cake with almond filling between the
layers. All of the guests commented on not only the beauty of the cakes, but the taste of
them. We look forward to using Mark Brickman for many other occasions in the near
future!

some of his samples at a bridal show at Bloomingdales and were

I LOVED working with Bakers Man. Not only was our cake more
beautiful than I had hoped, it tasted amazing. My husband is not a
big cake eater (he sent my mom with me to the tasting, and let me
tell you, that was his loss), but he is still raving about how great
our cake was! And all of our guests couldn't get enough of it
either. Many went back for seconds. I sent Mark a color swatch of
my bridesmaids dresses and he matched the ribbon of icing on the
cake to it exactly! Our cake was GORGEOUS!! The best wedding cake
I have ever seen or eaten. And I LOVE that he holds onto your cake
choices, and will make a fresh topper for your 1 year anniversary
(or whenever else you may want)! By far Mark goes above and beyond
in his creations. He is very professional, not pushy and a true
artist. I will be using him again in a few months when my husband
turns the big 30 and I CAN'T WAIT!!!

Outstanding choice!
I truly enjoyed meeting Mark and working with him; and he exceeded my
expectations. He and I chose a very unique and colorful cake, with 3
delicious flavors --- our wedding guests loved it!

I am giving Baker's Man Inc. because...
Mark Brickman was probably the least stressful wedding vendor we
worked with in relation to our entire wedding. He was completely
flexible and listened to our ideas and had helpful suggestions of his
own. It was almost like he could sense where I was thinking about
going with cake designs before I got there. I even completely changed
the design of the wedding cake 1 month before the wedding date and he
was 110% okay with that.
I would recommend him to all wedding couples. Not only were the cake
designs beautiful, but the cakes themselves were perfect and
delicious. He customized a grooms double-layer cheesecake for us to
the groom's favorite kind of cheesecake and made it look beautiful and
classy. Both cakes tasted amazing. I think we got a great deal for
our money and could not have asked for anything more.
Mark is responsive, helpful, and professional - all the things you
want in a wedding vendor. Trust me!

The Baker's Man was also one of our best vendors. He was easy to work
with and had a huge selection of flavors and fillings for us to choose
from. I actually booked him site unseen based on the reviews of him on
this website. We selected a 4 tier wedding cake with white chocolate
and vanilla cake with lemon curd and raspberry marmalade. It also had
a layer of raspberry marble cake and swiss buttercream. It was
delish!!! We hadn't planned on getting a grooms cake, but while at the
tasting my husband spotted a Hennessy bottle cake that he had to have.
That one was made of chocolate buttermilk cake and caramel toffee
crunch buttercream. Our guests were so impressed with both!!! Thanks
Mark for everything!!! You can't go wrong with the Baker's Man!!!

If you're getting married and looking for a cake that is not only
breathtaking but also beautiful, Baker's Man should be your only
stop! Mark is great at what he does and he's VERY professional. I
would reccomend him highly! Mark even prepared custom flavors for
my husband and I based on our favorite Cheesecake Factory cake!!!
Our guest were talking about how good our cake was for days after
the wedding. We can't wait until our 1 year anniversary to have
Mark recreate the top tier of our cake!

My experience with Bakers Man Inc.in Alpharetta, Ga was great. I was
having a small ceremony in Stone Mtn making all arrangements
hundreds of miles away (I live in Ohio).The whole transaction was
handled through emails. He was able 2 accomodate my request 2 design
the cake with the same pattern found on the bottom of my flower girl
dresses.All transactions went smooth and when I picked up my cake I
was completly astounded at how beautiful the cake was.I cannot even
count how many compliments we received about how beautiful the cake
was and how delicious it was. We knew we were taking a risk w/out a
visit 2 the shop for a sample session, but Mark @ Bakers Man was
truly one of many blessing that day. Magnificant!

I can’t say enough about Baker’s Man. We wanted a cake that mirrored
the bright, fun day that we wanted our wedding to be and Mark brought
our cake vision to life. People were raving about it all night and
since the wedding too. Not only was our cake gorgeous, but it was
absolutely delicious as well. I have found that combination rare in
wedding cakes – usually you have to pick one or the other, but
Baker’s Man can do both!! They were completely professional and
delivered our cake on time - we did not have to worry about a thing.
I would highly recommend using them for a wedding cake or any cake
needs. We plan to use them again in the future.

I met with Mark initially at his office in Alpharetta. The first
meeting went great. He had several life size samples of his work as
well as pictures. He was extremely knowledgeable about different
types of cakes and what tastes good. The design and flavor I chose
turned out to be much better than expected. I knew that his work
was good, but my cake turned out outstanding and it taste great. I
would use Mark over and over again. I wish I had another wedding to
plan just to get a cake again.

Your cakes were amazing. The groom's cake, which was a White Sox Jersey
(surprise for the groom) tasted delicious and the marshmallow fondant or
whatever it was – was perfect. People who reportedly didn’t like carrot cake –
liked carrot cake by Mark. And, the wedding cake was beautiful: the details (the
R, the invitation touch, the ribbons, the color) make it a very attractive piece in
the room. Some of my favorite pictures include the cake, the champagne glasses,
and the candles… It was beautiful all lit up in the room. AND, it was also delicious
(we had amaretto, raspberry creams, awesomeness)… Everyone loved it and
people asked for seconds – which, I had never heard of before. Fondant can
taste good with Mark! We plan on enjoying our cake top again on June 24th. My
sister who is going to use Mark as her baker as well…

We found this company through Atlanta Bridal as well as our reception
coordinator. We met with Mark and after speaing with him about our ideas we
immdiately decided that we were going to use him becasue he was able to tranfer
our ideas into a realistic product. Plus his cakes were so amazing that we wound
up getting two cakes for the wedding becasue we enjoyed two completely different
tastes. All of the business asect was extremely smooth with Mark giving us a
precise explanation of what our cake would look like and what it would be made
of. Once we arrived at the reception we received several complimetns from all of
our guest for our Christmas boxes wedding cake and my husband's groom cake
which was of his favorit team the Colts. From the beginning until we received the
finished product, Mark was excellent to work with and his cakes were amazing, I

Bakersman Inc was absolutely wonderful! The professional consultation with a
ride range of cake types, fillings and designs was a great experience all unto
itself. I was very specific about the colors and designs for our cake and went to
great pains to submit Mark a very detailed drawing of what we wanted. Also I
submitted paint color chips for him to match the colors up to and the result was
the coolest cake in the world! A bit of Willy Wonka, a smidgeon of Roger Rabbit
and a pinch of Alice in Wonderland gave us our dream cake!!! Our family and
guests are all still talking about it!!!

heard what style of cake we wanted. We met with him and told us of our ideas and

as to have us pick out paint samples for the cake colors to be sure we got
exactly what we wanted! I must say that the cake tasting at his bakery was one
of my favorite parts of our planning experience! All the flavors we tasted were

Mark was wonderful from the beginning to the end. The tasting was spectacular
and all of the samples were extremely delicious. Of the two vendors I chose from
his cakes were by far the tastiest. I’d told Mark during initial discussion that the
most important thing about my cake was the taste. I’d wanted a cake so good
that we’d want some later that night- Mark delivered 100%. Everyone commented
on not just how beautiful the cake was but how great it tasted. (My family ate cake
until it was GONE, into the wee hours after our wedding. I do not want to
undermine the beauty of this cake. I changed my cake twice- and Mark made
adjustments with no complaints. He hand created cherry blossoms on my cake, it
was the most beautiful cake I’d ever seen (better than the picture I got the idea
from) and tasted. If you’re looking to have professional service, prompt
responses, a beautiful AND tasty cake (Really I can’t stress this enough), then

Mark at Baker's Man Inc is simply wonderful. We got in contact with him about our
wedding and we met at his office. He was incredibly nice, all his cakes were
delicious, and he listened to what we wanted and helped us design the perfect
cakes for our wedding. His buttercream is divine and his chocolate ganoche (sp?)
was wickedly good. Also, his fillings were so great; in the bride's cake we had
lemon curd and raspberry in one layer and the other layer had keylime. The cake
was silver with white chocolate melted into it... amazing. The groom's cake was
pound with chocolate and heath fillings. Everybody raved about both cakes. Mark
worked with us on everything and truly took time to make sure we were pleased
with everything. His prices are also very reasonable! I would recommend him for
any needs the require a cake (birthdays, weddings, anything).

I just had my wedding this past Saturday and all anyone can talk about is how
wonderful our cake was! Mark Brickman of the Bakers Man was so wonderful to
work with and he has every cake, filling, and frosting you could ever imagine. It
was so hard to choose because they are all to die fo. All of his cake designs are
gorgeous and he can create anything that you want. He created a cake for me
that matched my table linens! It was absolutely gorgeous, soooooooooooooo
good, and he was perfectly on time and even made sure that the cake was at the
right temperature so that the taste was the best at the time it would be eaten. I
chose to do this review because I know it's hard to find good vendors and Mark of
the Bakers Man far surpassed my expectations. He was wonderful!

I was a slight panic when there was about one month left before our wedding and still had not found a baker. Mark Brickman and Baker's Man Inc. was recommended to me by our dj and was extremely approachable. Mark returned my desparate phone calls promptly and even was able to squeeze me in for an emergency tasting a few days later. I was pleasantly surprised to find that after viewing his fabulous designs and competative pricing, his cakes tasted even BETTER than they looked. We worked together on the creative design and he suggested some cake flavor combinations that was to die for. (He even put together a box of cake samples for me to take home to my fiance since he could not be at the tasting.!) Out wedding cake was the hit of our evening and I would HIGHLY recommend Mark Brickman and Baker's Man in any bride in Atlanta who is looking for THE cake!!

What a JOY it was, to see our lovely cake at our Wedding. Mark Brickman, of Baker's Man, Inc. did a stupendous job! The cake was moist, and delicate---we'd chosen a multi-layer of traditional white cake, layered with raspberry filling and white chocolate, alternating layers of strawberry-flavored-cake with lemon filling, and so on...The exterior was SO beautiful, my Groom-- Hansoo & I, hesitated to even CUT it! It was buttercream(delicious!)icing with a "ribbon" of fondant over it.Mark does NOT use any "lard" in his fondant, so no worries about that, either!
The decorations on the cake consisted of silver non-pareils(Silver and Lavendar were my colors for Wedding), and Mark placed flowers which matched my Bridal bouquet, into the cake--on top, and on each layer's edge--giving it a fresh, yet festive feel!
The Groom's cake we feasted on the night before, at our Rehearsal Dinner bears mentioning, too--it was a GOLF-CART--made with chocolate cake, and a white-chocolate icing. Mark was able to put Hansoo's alma mater's logo--Georgia Tech--on the top of the "cart", too!
All my guests commented on both the cakes, and how yummy they were. In fact, even a few guests who claim to not care for sweets, ended up devouring quite a bit of cake!
I HIGHLY recommend Mark, and The Baker's Man, for all your Wedding/Celebration/Party needs! He's personable, and prompt, with great attention to detail!

My husband wanted a very special groom's cake that looked like the king and queen of hearts crossed. It was perfect; you could hold two playing cards up to it and not tell the difference. The wedding cake was so beautiful you almost did not want to eat it because it was like cutting into art. The beauty of the cakes is only surpassed by the amazing flavors. Mark was ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL to work with! I work remotely so I had to do all of my wedding planning via the internet - which is difficult when you have hundreds of choices of bakers, photographers, etc. Mark was our third cake tasting of the day, and I am NOT exagerating when I say that the others were no where near his caliber. The others were polite, pleasant, and good (taste like a regular made from scratch cake), but Mark´s was a full on dessert! So many options, lots of flavors, and ALL were amazing! I PROMISE that you will not be disappointed. You may spend $0.50 more a slice, but this is one piece of the wedding that you do not want to be cheap on. Your guests will forget most of the aspects of your wedding, BUT THEY WILL NOT FORGET THE CAKE!!

Wow...what can I say. The cake that Mark from The Bakers Man made for my May wedding was one of the most beautiful and delicious cakes I have ever seen or tasted. We did a square cake with layers of buttermilk chocolate/chocolate icing/white cake/almond toffee cream/buttermilk chocolate and butter cream icing. It was amazing. His buttermilk chocolate cake is so moist and rich that it almost melts. He also did a large fondant bow on the top that was amazing. Let's just say there was not much cake left over and almost everyone cleaned his or her plates! Also his prices are great...that was such an added bonus. Thank you, Mark. To me, the wedding cake is a very important of a wedding. When I was looking for mine, I asked a catering manager for some recommendations and she responded that if the wedding cake was important to me I should contact "Baker'sMan Inc." I think that when you are preparing your wedding celebration you must have a good feeling about the people that are going to provide services for that special day. From the first moment I met Mark I knew he was the right person. He was polite, easy going, and very professional.
Since we wanted a cheesecake for our wedding, he made a sample for us to try. We invited friends and families and we all loved it! The reactions were not different in our wedding day. I cannot describe the facial expressions of our guets first seeing and then eating such a wonderful cheesecake. Everybody said and still say that it was the best cheesecake they have ever had. I give two thumbs up (and more if I had them!) to BAKER'S MAN. With no doubt I recommend his work.

From the first day Mark was open to my ideas and made sure he created the cake of my dreams, not the cake of someone else's. We attending a private cake tasting with Mark and he dazzled us yet again. His cake and buttercream frosting were the best I'd ever had. When I walked into the venue on my wedding day the first thing I saw was my cake, which set me at ease that the rest of the day would be as perfect as the cake. It was exactly what I envisioned.
My guests raved about the cake! My husband and I have been munching on the leftovers for three days now and I still am not sick of it.

I had the best experience with Mark Brickman, The Baker's Man! I was married on October 1, 2005 and met with three other bakers before meeting Mark. He was recommended to me by a friend of a friend, and it was the best recommendation I received during all my wedding planning. I contacted Mark and he was available to meet at a time that worked with my schedule. His web site is very informative and after meeting with three other bakers, Mark's cake tasting experience was definitely the best! I left there knowing exactly what combinations were available and what my cake would taste like in the end (you won't find this everywhere). My fiance did not live in Atlanta at the time and since he couldn't be at the initial meeting, Mark offered to prepare another tasting for him. Mark also asked if I wanted a tour of his kitchen - a first! I was so impressed by his professionalism, his openness and of course, his work. His cakes are a work of art and his flavors are wonderful! Mark created a wedding cake and a groom's cake for us and even though I had a few changes along the way, he was always willing to price out another option and worked with me throughout the entire process. If you want a beautiful cake that tastes great with no worries that it will be exactly what you want, call Mark! I would recommend him to anyone without hesitation!

Mark was one of our first vendors we picked for our wedding and we were so glad that we booked him immediately. We signed with Mark after doing a taste test at his shop after he showed us huge albums full of his cakes that he decorated and after tasting about 10 different types of cake. Then Mark let us use foam shapes to decide on how many layers we wanted, if we wanted square, round, a mixture, how we wanted the layers placed, etc. He listened to all my ideas and then sketched my cake making sure that he had everything perfect. Mark was extremely quick with his return emails to me and my mom during the process of making changes and this definitely eased the stress factor in planning a wedding.
We went with a three tier square wedding cake - buttercream icing with two layers of buttercream filling - one a yummy toffee flavor and one a raspberry buttercream. The cake had a huge fondant bow on top with long swags hanging down the side of the cake and fondant flowers on the corners of the squares. He placed my cake on a cake stand that I had previously purchased. We also got a ball and chain groom's cake in chocolate with chocolate icing - it was amazing. Both cakes were the best I've ever tasted - way better than his taste test even which he said it would be since our cake was fresh and the little samples were a few days old. The toffee layer had real little pices of toffee in it which was great!
Lastly, the cake was delivered right on time and served more people than he quoted so you get as much cake or more than he says it will serve which is good.

My husband and I first met Mark Brickman a month before our wedding. We were lucky that Mark was available on our wedding day with such short notice, but it was meant to be. Given the short time we had to decide on the details, Mark prepared loads of samples at our tasting of various cakes and fillings. We decided on a wonderfully decadent cake with alternating layers and different fillings within each tier. The cake was a winner! Many guests came to us and said, "This cake is delicious." "It totally doesn't taste like a typical wedding cake." Nothing about Mark's work is typical. As far as design, the cake was stunning. Mark carried out our vision. He collaborated with my florist for a stunning presentation. I've only seen one picture so far, and tears welled up in my eyes. I love that our cake is more beautiful than the ones in magazines. Mark is gifted and I highly recommend him. I look forward to my anniversary for many reasons; one of them is because I get to taste the cake again!

I had a fall/halloween wedding and he made the cutest groomsmen cake out of cupcakes (per our request) with spiders webs iced on top and little candy spiders. My bridal cake was so simple and elegant. I couldn't have asked for anything more. We had orginally went in looking for a very unique cake that about 3-4 other baker's had tunred me down on making. Mark was willing to make the cake and gave several ideas on how to make it work for us. In the end we decided to go with one of his own unique cakes instead!!!!

Mark at Bakers Man Inc. was an absolute pleasure to work with from beginning to end. Unlike other vendors that I worked with for my wedding Mark would always respond so quickly to any questions or requests that I had which made it so easy to work with him especially when you have so many things on your plate when planning a wedding. Also, with Atlanta traffic the way it is, it was at times difficult to be on time to meet Mark and he was very patient and understanding.
Mark made the cutest cookies for my out-of-town guest bags. They were in the shape of the state of Georgia and said "Welcome to Atlanta" on them. They were the perfect little something to surprise our guests as they arrived at the hotel. He personally took the time to wrap them and tie each of them with a little bow. They were a huge hit! Also, our wedding cake was just absolutely the best thing my husband and I had ever tasted. I'm willing to bet money that nobody could bake a better tasting cake and the cake just looked spectacular. I really wanted something unique and not just a typical cake. Mark is so creative and has just a huge range of any kind of cake you could ever want to complete you big day. I would highly recomment him to anyone who is looking for a baker. You will not be disappointed. I'm not sure that my husband and I will be able to wait an entire year until our anniversary to tear into the top of our cake. :)

Working with Mark at the Baker's Man, Inc was an absolute joy, as well as a relief. The original baker I had chosen 3 months prior to my wedding date did not work out. So here I was, 4 weeks before my wedding, and no one to make my cake. We contacted Mark at the Baker's Man, and thank goodness he was available. We met with him that Saturday to taste some samples. He provoided us with 4 different cakes and they were all fantastic. I had never tasted cake as good as the Baker's Man. Needless to say we choose him to create our cakes. We did a traditional wedding cake and a guitar shaped grooms cake. Not only did they look great, but they tasted even better. I have never been to a wedding where the cake disappeared so fast. After working for months with another baker with no success, we contacted Mark Brickman of Baker's M'an in Alpharetta. With only two weeks to plan, Mark stepped up in a professional and compassionate manner. He had us in his shop with numerous examples to taste and choose from. All were incredible. The choice was difficult.A wedding cake and grooms cake (shaped like a real guitar) was delivered. I have never seen two entire cakes eaten at an event! With more than enough for all, they were devoured. Each guest helping themselves to multiple pieces. If icky sweet cake is what you want, go to Publix. After sampling The Baker's Man Inc.'s wedding cake, I instantly knew this was the cake to serve at my daughter's wedding. We had sampled numerous cakes before finding the Baker's Man. I have to tell you that we were so impressed with our cake that we e-mailed him from our honeymoon. We actually traveled with our top layer and divulged ourselves our first night here-everyone was jealous when they saw what a wonderful cake we had. I can't put into words how beautiful and perfect our cake was. The color, the taste, the presentation, and the flawlessness will always be appreciated. Everyone talked, not about us all night, but about our wonderful cake. I was a little jealous, but I'll get over it. We really enjoyed working with Mark Brickman. From our first tasting to the big day, everything was perfect. After the tasting we had no doubts that we would select Baker's Man for our wedding. Our wedding cake was absolutely beautiful and everyone talked about how wonderful it was. My only complaint was that we didn't get more of the cake at the reception!!
I know that we won't wait much longer to eat the top layer!

I highly recommend Mark. He was very professional, thorough, and easy to work with. We changed our cake design within a month or so of the wedding and Mark was very flexible, even designing some special accommodations so that the cake we wanted would look just like the picture. He obviously has a great deal of pride in his work and is truly a talented pastry artist. The cake was beautiful and as for the taste...sublime. We received so many compliments and were very happy with both the process and the result!

This man is a wonderful baker. I specifically went looking for someone that would make a cake that would TASTE GOOD! It seems easy to get a beautiful cake but I've had so many dry, bland, beautiful pieces of cake in my life that I couldn't stand the idea of offering that to my guests.
Mark's cake was so delicious (we had the white chocolate with lemon and raspberry filling) that we still have guests commenting on how wonderful it was. It was great for the entire week after that my husband and I continued to eat it! We even ate the top - I guess we'll just have to get Mark to bake us a new one on our first anniversary.
And the cake was BEAUTIFUL! He mimicked the floral pattern on my dress onto the cake. Even our caterer said it was one of the most breathtaking cakes she'd seen! What a bonus!
And to top it off, Mark offers excellent service. I would recommend him to any future bride and I will be using him as the official baker for all of our family anniversaries, birthdays, etc. in the future!

Mark Brickman made the most wonderful cake for my wedding last week. He was the only cake vendor I called that bothered to return my call. Mark made the whole process of choosing a cake, style, filling, icing etc so easy. My husband was thrilled with the cake and it was the only thing on the entire buffet table that he even ate. All my guests loved the cake. It was moist and full of flavor. The finish on the icing was just beautiful. I highly recommend all future brides contact Mark for their cakes. They will not be disappointed.

I went to three cake tastings in Atlanta and was not impressed. The cakes tasted pretty good but lacked any artistic quality. My fourth and last meeting was with Mark Brickman of Baker's Man Inc, in Alpharetta. It was a little bit of a drive but well worth it. Mark was very friendly and professional and his obvious talent put me at ease. It was clear by his portfolio that he cared about the look and style of his creations as well as the taste. I sketched out a loose idea of what I had in mind and he was able to give advice and collaborate with me to enhance, not redirect, my vision. The cake samples tasted incredible. Overall the samples were sweet and rich, as most cakes are, but Mark was able to keep a lightness to the cakes so that they were not overpowering. On the big day I couldn't have been more pleased. Mark was the perfect choice!

He is so easy to work with and is extremely nice and helpful. Everyone raved about the cakes at my wedding.....some people told me that they ate 3 slices because it was so good. His prices are reasonable as well. I met with other cake bakers charging a lot more than him and their cakes were not nearly as good. I highly recommend Mark without any hesitation.

Mark was great to work with throughout the entire planning process--even when I changed my mind 3 or 4 times! We finally decided to go with a cupcake-cake (because cupcakes are my husband's favorite), and Mark created delicious cupcakes filled with chocolate ganache. As soon as my husband and I cut our cupcake, everyone rushed the cakestand to get their own. They loved them! I highly recommend Mark because of his incredible talent at baking, his creativity and his professionalism.

Let's just say I can' wait until my 1 year anniversary to eat my wedding cake again!!!! This man is a geat chef. The next few weeks people were asking me who baked my cake and I told them Mark the Baker's Man. A Lot of people can bake a good cake but when you are getting married and there is so much to do and keep track of one of the things that sets someone apart from everyone else is their ability to be one step ahead of you. Mark listened to what kind of wedding we were planning, got a feel for what kind of people we were, where it was, what we were wearing, etc. That is how thorough he was in our initial meeting. When we left his office after trying several slices of cake and fillings I told my then fiance "that man is our baker man!" Thanks Mark!

I chose Mark because I did not want a traditional wedding cake. His cake designs were amazing and paired with his delicious choices of cakes I knew he was the one to create our cake. He took my "deco" theme ideas and created the most fabulous and awe-inspiring cake I have ever seen! No one could stop talking about it during and weeks after the wedding, both the look of it and how good it was. It got almost as much attention as I did! I was absolutely stunned when I saw what he created. He captured exactly what I wanted!! I couldn't have been more pleased and it was so hard to have to cut it. The only way I could was because I wanted everyone to taste how delicious it was. He went above and beyond my expectations and he should be on everyone's "meet with" list!!!

Oh, what can I say about Baker's Man? How about, our cake was one of the top 3 things we were most excited about going into the wedding - just after our tasting? Most wedding cakes are beautiful but taste very... White. Our cake was not only beautiful, but it tasted (still tastes, we have some left) absolutely amazing! All I had to do was show Mark a picture I found and give him a color swatch to perfect the color and he made the most perfect recreation I could have asked for! Now, I LOVE cake and sweets, so I KNOW cake and sweets and believe me when I say, this was hands down the best cake I have ever tasted!
He was so prompt anytime I needed to ask him a question, always polite and helpful. My five stars say it all!

I could not have been more pleased with my wedding cake and groom's cake! Baker's Man did a fabulous job!! Everyone I spoke with at our reception commented on the cake and by the time we left, it was almost gone! I will definitely use Baker's Man Inc. in the future and would recommend them to anyone needing a cake or dessert. Cost was a factor for me when selecting a baker since my fiance, now husband, and I would be paying for the cake. Mark Brickman was an absolute pleasure to work with. He took a lot of time with my then fiancee and I to talk about his work, taste several samples and was very helpful with guiding us to choose the right cake for our event. He even re-arranged his schedule so that he could meet with us in the evening.
We were extremely impressed with his credentials and experience.
He even set up and tore down the display himself. The lines of communication were perfect throught the process also.
The cake turned out more beautiful than I imagined and it tasted even better! Our guests all raved about it at the wedding and I still have people telling me how great it was! I have recommended him to a few people already, and will continue to do so!

About 3 weeks before our wedding, it was clear that the original bakery we had hired would not be able to do the job. Our wedding coordinator then referred us to Mark Brickman at Baker's Man. Mark is very professional, prompt in responding to emails and a very talented baker. We wanted to do something different, so he helped us choose 5 different flavors of filled cupcakes. Our guests devoured them. They were so delicious that my husband and I decided to eat our 1st year anniversary cupcakes now and just order a new cake from Baker's Man for our 1st anniversary. Mark's prices are extremely reasonable and and we couldn't have been more pleased with his services.

We selected Mark Brickman from The Baker's Man as our cake baker after visiting and tasting several different bakers/cakes in the Atlanta area. Mark impressed us with his professionalism, experience, creative ideas, and desire to make our cakes PERFECT (he actually did!). Above and beyond all of that, his cakes are absolutely DELICIOUS!!! During our first meeting with him, Mark took the time to get to know us, what kind of wedding we were having, what flavor and style of cake we wanted, and even drew a picture of what both the bride's cake and groom's cake would look like once we had decided. He was very enthusiastic about participating in our wedding, and explained that he would deliver the cake himself to the reception site, so that, in the event that something happened, he would be there to fix it. From the beginning, I never questioned that Mark would do what he promised and do a fabulous job - I was very confident in the promises he made. He was able to get flowers to place on the bride's cake through his own florist, which was much easier than coordinating with our florist, since that way he could decide what flowers would look the best on our cake. Both cakes turned out amazing- our guests are still talking about how beautiful and tasty they were two months after our wedding. We would highly recommend Mark for any wedding! (He even made the cake for our rehearsal dinner...the chocolate covered strawberries were great!)

When my fiance and I met Mark, he had samples of all the different types of cakes we were interested in tasting so that we could decide who we wanted to make our cake. We were looking for someone professional to work with, a cake that not only looked great but tasted great and recieve reliable delivery at the time of the wedding. Mark at the Baker's Man we felt were all of these things which is why we chose to have him make our wedding cake as well as cookies, since we chose not to have a groom's cake. On our wedding day, the cake looked beautiful and tasted terrific, so were the cookies. We had alot of compliments from our guests on our cake which was important to us since my husband loves sweets. I highly reccommend Mark because what he promised, he deliverd.

Mark was a pleasure to work with and he delivered everything that he promised. Every little change I made was done exactly as I wanted and I would highly recommend his cakes and his service! I have had so many friends & family rave about how yummy the cake tasted. I selected his award winning cake design, Summertime Delight, and selected white cake with two layers of filling that would be enjoyable on a hot summer evening. The first filling was white chocolate buttercream with a thin layer of Swiss raspberry preserves, and the second layer was fresh lemon curd buttercream with fresh seasonal raspberries mixed within. Amazing. For the groom's cake, Kurt wanted a ski-theme since we got engaged in Aspen, and Mark created a carrot cake (again, to die for!) in a pile of snow with crossed ski's sticking into the air. It was a hit! I would highly recommend Bakers Man.

Perfection! Our cake was beautiful and unique! We had a 4-tier squared cake (offset) that was iced smooth with Swiss vanilla butter cream frosting. The flavors we selected were three layers of white cake (traditional southern wedding cake). The first layer of filling had a Swiss almond butter cream with a thin layer of semi sweet chocolate ganache. The second layer of filling would be Swiss vanilla butter cream. Besides tasting the cake while David and I cut it, I did not get a chance to taste it! But I heard that it was delicious. Mark Brickman was fantastic to work with!!! My only regret is that we didn't place the cake in the center of the dance floor during dinner for everyone to see because it was so beautiful. I think many people didn't catch a look before we cut it!

If you think that wedding guests don't care about the wedding cake, think again. In our case, one of us (the bride) was not really into having a wedding cake, but the groom was. We decided that if we were going to have one, we wanted it to be special and memorable. Mark at Bakers Man exceeded our expectations. Not only was our cake beautifully designed and presented, it was absolutely delicious, with flavors that left guests wanting more. (Ours had praline buttercream and caramel toffee buttercream layers.) People actually went for second helpings, and a handful of people said it was the best wedding cake they'd ever eaten.
One of the best things about Mark's cakes is that he uses premium ingredients, and this is evident. This is not your usual commercial-grade cake. The buttercream tastes like you just went out and churned the butter yourself.
Our experience was excellent. We gave 4 stars out of 5 because this web site says that 5 indicates that the vendor "went above and beyond." We're not sure we could say there was anything "above and beyond" about Mark's dealings with us, because he did what we paid him to do, but we can honestly give him a solid 4.5 out of 5.

Let me just start by saying that designing our wedding cake was one of the most fun parts of our wedding. I had worked in a cake bakery before and I wanted something really creative and fun….yet still looking like a wedding cake. I visited at least 4 bakers before I met Mark. We made phone contact and I attempted to describe what I wanted, he immediately emailed me several pictures of previous cakes he had done. He was first baker I had met that knew what I wanted and had actually made something close to our design before. Mark was extremely professional and communicative throughout the wedding cake process. After our final meeting, I had no doubts or worries about how great he would make our wedding cake ...and it turns out I was right. The cake was beautiful and fun. I highly recommend Mark Brickman for your wedding!
