Rafael to photograph our wedding, I had no idea what I was in store
for. He exceeded my expectations, as he was more than professional,
flexible, and dependable. I will never be able to forget my wedding
day thanks to Rafael and his staff. My husband and I truly enjoyed
the experience. We felt like celebrities on our wedding day. Not
only was the service spectacular, my wedding album is phenomenal
(Kudos Rebecca). Everyone from family members, to friends, to co-
workers commented on how beautiful my album is and how they've never
seen any thing like it. By the way, if you've never seen a magazine
style album, it's a must that you do; and, it is certainly worth the

ideas and was able to incorporate his creativity to give us some incredible shots...also, even though
he was thrown a few curve balls by the ceremony venue, he was able to pick up and keep on
moving without ever missing a beat.
we spoke with only a few other photographers over the phone, but because there was that instant
"click" rafael was the only one we met with, and we knew from that initial meeting that he was the
perfect fit to document our special day...he is highly professional, but he also knows how to relate

We picked Big Day Photography because we loved the artistic eye and real point
of view apparent in the pictures on their website. We were planning a very
special wedding -- a 10-hour Indian-Greek extravaganza in Manhattan. We needed
a special photographer.
Rafael's advice and coaching helped us plan our day to avoid nightmares and
carve out time for photos, clothing changes, scene changes, etc. During the
wedding, Rafael helped us stay on track and worked with our friends and
relatives to get people together for the important photos. His organization,
grace, people skills, and cheerful attitude went a long way in making the whole
experience fun and easy for us. He and his co-photographer Jessica never got in
the way, didn't block anyone's views, but they fully captured our whole crazy day.
The photographs are incredible -- they took hundreds of photos, and almost all
of them are beautiful. You'll be in good hands with them. We were.

The team at Big Day Photography were accessible, honest, and did an amazing job
with our photography!
Rafael was great for so many reasons:
--he was the only photographer I met who volunteered to come to our rehearsal to
check out the venue, even though it was in Athens, GA (about 1-1.5 hours from
Atlanta).
--he was as good at directing big groups of family members as he was with just
the two of us for engagement pictures. Our families were comfortable with him,
and he was really efficient.
--he truly has a gift for finding the best spontaneous shots; we're still
surprised and delighted when we look at our pictures (four months later!)
--The traditional shots are posed, but not stiff or stodgy.
We love our pictures, and we loved working with Rafael. I can't recommend him
highly enough, and only hope we can book an anniversary sitting with him in the
future!

As a bit of a detail oriented, control-freak, I had reservations about who I could

When looking for a photographer I was looking for someone that had “IT”. I
searched for months and interviewed about a dozen photographers. I wanted
someone that could see a special moment and capture it without thinking twice.
That is what Rafael with Bid Day Photography does. Most of the time I didn’t even
notice he was there but thankfully he was because I would probably not even
remember my wedding if it wasn’t for him. He was able to capture everything just
the way it was, magical. Rafael spent time with me, before the wedding, getting to
know my personality and used that knowledge to get the photos that best
describes me. I’m not sure how he did it but when I look at my photos I feel the
same emotions I felt at that time. He and his partner came very prepared and

Rafael and his assistant did an excellent job! Chris and I couldn't be happier with
the pictures that were taken. They put us at ease instantly and captured the
moments of our special day so wonderfully. Not only were the traditional pictures
taken, but they also captured some very special, unplanned moments that truly
show what a great time everyone had at the wedding. Since we didn't use a
videographer, we really were hoping that the pictures would show the flow of
events throughout the day and would not only be of us and our families, but also
of the guests and this is exactly what we got. No need for a videographer with
this photographer! I would highly recommend Rafael and Big Day Photography!
The pictures are absolutely amazing and stunning! Since all of them are so good,
it's going to be very difficult choosing the pictures for our album!

Rafael Sepulveda and his team at Big Day are champs in the wedding photog biz. They were worth every penny - after all when it's all over, the pictures and the memories they conjur are the tangible pieces of the day. In my particular event, we had an extra-large bridal party, 30 strong, and very strict timing rules in the church. Rafeal met with us on location before the events to scope out the shot sequence to keep things efficient on the day and to find out what my Husband and I wanted as 'must have' shots. He also came to the rehearsal just to finalize his plans and ensure he was in synch with the church rules. Mostly, we got what we expected from his samples: photos that reflect the fun and joy of the day, no stodgy over posed prints, and some interesting artsy snaps as well! It will be a treat to view the shots we've chosen to build our album for years to come, and we'll always remember the professionalism, spirit and excitement Rafael had on our wedding day!

Part of planning a wedding is to find good vendors...that is obvious, but you never really find how important that is until the actual event. Glad to say the wedding was a huge success and everyone had a great time. A big reason for that, was our great crew we had working for us to make our day the most special. Our photgrapher was Rafael. One of the places you do not want to try to budget too tightly is your photographer. Caputring the moments on your day is more important than anything else. These pictures will tell the story of that special day. I cannot say enough good about the outstanding job that Rafael and his assitant did on our wedding day. He is very talanted and has a unique gift of capturing real emotion (stress and happiness) as well as taking beautiful traditional shots. His prices are very reasonable, and has several package options to choose from.

I am the mother of a bride.I will tell you the story. My daughter's future Father-in -law is a professional photographer (they are from Paducah, KY) he had narrowed it down via the internet to 5 photographers. I then made appointments to meet with all 5. Only 4 were available for our date. I narrowed it down to 2 and then made my Daughter and her fiance make the final decision. Raphael was my first choice and he ended up being theirs as well. He was great!!!!He is a pleasure to work with. He was the only photographer that came to the rehearsal to check out the venue and the lighting and any other issues he should know about prior to the big day. That left nothing to be a surprise for either the family or the photographer.
His work is beautiful, very fresh and fun, with tradition as well. The whole bridal party so enjoyed the whole experience as well as the family. He is also one of the nicest people and a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend Rafael to make any bride and grooms special day be one they will never forget!

First and utmost, Rafael is a wonderful person. He put us totally at ease and we immediately got the impression that he really loves his job. He would never be the type of guy to consider it a job, though. We hired him not only because of his portfolio, but because he was the type of person we would have been friends with. It was really important that our photographer have unlimited time built into the package, and Rafael didn't charge by the hour, nor did he ever seem eager to leave. He gave us a discount due to our Sunday wedding date, and even exchanged an engagement sitting for a bridal portrait in his package. I am so thrilled with the work that he did, btu even more so by the way he did it. I never noticed he was there, and he got some amazing candid shots. Everyone that sees our pictures says that it looked like the most fun wedding. That was really my goal. Rafael was open to ideas, suggested plenty of his own, and was very polite and patient when it came to large family pictures. I would reccomend him to any bride, but especially those of you who are avoiding the stuffy, traditional wedding and opting for a fun, memorable day. He truly captured the day I will remember forever.

His contract was very easy to read and he kept to it. He included a price listing that was equally easy to understand and his prices were very reasonable. He was very easy to get in touch with and was on time for our event. We would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a photographer for a wedding.

I absolutely loved working with Rafael and his crew. They did a wonderful job and I HIGHLY recommend him to anyone. Not only was he on time, he spent the whole day with me and my bridemaids...taking great shots of us getting ready. The groomsmen were also great shots. Rafael's patience and knowledge of working weddings put my mind to ease for our big day. I had no worries at all. I knew I was getting a great looking portfolio...and I did. If any bride is worried about finding the right photographer for their wedding...go to Rafael, he'll take good care of you!

From my first conversation with Rafael, I felt as if a great weight had been lifted off my shoulders in all the wedding planning. Not only did his personality mesh with mine, I was just sure that he would do a great job for me. I never once doubted my selection of his services before the wedding, and after...well, I have provided many references for him since the wedding. HE ROCKED! He and his work were beyond my expectations and is a great guy in general.

I am giving Big Day Photography because...
The first time I called Rafael, he was very friendly over the phone and very helpful. He never seemed like he was in a hurry. He answered evey question we had. When we requested a meeting with him to look over his portfolio, he was ready to meet anytime and anywhere. We were very impressed with his pictures and ideas. We told him the package we wanted and gave him a deposit. Rafael showed up early before the wedding and was very helpful in organizing everyone. There were so many pictures being taken during the event, we knew we would have great memories of our special day. Money was never an issue. Rafael was always working hard at giving us the best pictures and the best album. He showed us many samples and asked us how we would like our album designed. We met several times with Rafael till we got exactly what we wanted. Rafael was always ready to help us, even after he got paid. I will use him for any even that requires photos. Rafeal will always be a friend of ours and I will refer him to everyone I know.

Rafael was a pleasure to work with. He was very flexible and allowed us to change dates and times as often as need be. We were quite surprised when presented us with a ton of "extras" after the wedding. His prices were reasonable and the pictures turned out well.
