The Fundraiser was a Success!
I will write up a full report this week but I am VERY happy to report that our Brides Against Breast Cancer Charity Wedding Gown sale was quite a success. We raised $36,500 for the Making Memories Foundation this weekend. And so many Atlanta area brides found the gown of their dreams. Over 50% of the brides that walked into the sale walked out with a gown. One bride purchased a $4000 Vera Wang for about $600 (if I recall correctly)! Thanks to everyone who helped with this and was involved. Again, I will write up a full report later in the week. Have a nice holiday weekend!

Last Tuesday I appeared live on Atlanta and Company. In the above photo, the host, Holly Firfer is in the middle and I am on the right. Nicole Dupree, my AtlantaBridal.com Site Manager, is on the left and our friends Colleen and Allison are next to us.

 The gowns in the photos were donated by Atlanta's own Wedding Gown Designer Isabella Margianu of Casa di Moda and will be on sale this weekend at the Brides Against Breast Cancer Wedding Gown Sale. Casa di Moda donated approximately 20 wedding gowns last year and they are donating 10 I believe this year. Casa di Moda is also currently having a fabulous sale on gowns right now - about 100 designer gowns are on sale for 50 - 60% off.
For the show, we all had our makeup done by Lisa Monette of On Location Artists. This was the first time I had met Lisa in person and she was fabulous! So fun to work with and I thought we all looked great for hours! Thanks for making us really feel like models Lisa!
