The price of stamps is going up again in May. Although you cannot purchase the new stamps for your outer envelopes prior to the price increase, you can buy "forever" stamps now for your response card envelopes. Forever stamps are the Liberty Bell stamp that holds its value even when the price of postage goes up. If you are planning a wedding, or if you just would like to plan ahead, buy lots of these stamps now to save some money for the future. Even after the price of stamps goes up, these stamps can still be used. They will always be the current regular mailing rate of a 1 oz. envelope (currently at $.42) so it is good planning to buy them now for response cards, shower invitations, thank you notes and more!
