Saving Money on your Wedding Flowers

As a florist, the biggest question I hear is, "My budget is limited...how do I save money on my wedding florals?" 

Here are three key areas to get the most bang for your buck:

1. Know your budget before you meet with a florist.  Knowing your wedding budget will help the you and the florist to determine what flowers will work best for you.  Keep in mind that you may acheive the same look of a high priced bouquet by using similar flowers for just a fraction of the cost.

2. Choose flowers that are in season. Seasonal flowers will always be easier to obtain and thus, be less expensive.

3. Think about places you can double the use of your flowers. For example, you may be able to use a ceremony aisle arrangment on your buffet table at your reception.
