We all know it…planning a wedding can be expensive! In fact, the latest statistics show that the average wedding in the United States costs between $20,000 and $30,000 depending on geographic location. Weddings in larger metropolitan areas average $30,000+ for 150 guests.

With the flailing economy, I decided to ask Atlanta area brides how they were saving money on their weddings. I also asked for advice from many Atlanta area wedding professionals.
