About the Gown Sale

The Making Memories Breast Cancer Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to granting last wishes for men and women suffering from Stage 4 (metastatic) breast cancer, has received thousands of wedding gowns for its "Brides Against Breast Cancer" Nationwide Tour of Gowns.

On January 28, 29 and 30, the Tour will return to Atlanta with a truckload of grand and beautiful bridal gowns from well-known sources in sizes ranging from 2 to 44. Most gowns in the collection have been donated by members of the bridal industry; some are runway samples, modeled at recent Market shows. Others are gifts from individuals across the country.

The selection - one of the largest assembled in the U.S. -- will include hundreds of current styles from a long list of well-known designers and manufacturers at unbelievably low prices. An impressive array of veils, crinolines and other accessories will also be offered.

Most gowns have been marked down 40% to 75% below traditional salon prices. Prices range from $99 to $799 for values to $3,500. A collection of Designer and Couture bridals retailing to $8,000 will also be included, with none priced higher than $2,499.

For the past 5 years, Lei Lydle, Founder of AtlantaBridal.com, has chaired the Atlanta Brides Against Breast Cancer Gown Sale and her team has raised over $175,000 for the breast cancer organization, Making Memories.

The Making Memories Foundation determines the cities and schedule for the gown sale each year. AtlantaBridal.com has no control over the date of the event. We also do not have control over the gowns or how the organization is run. Our only affiliation with Making Memories is to organize this particular fundraiser in Atlanta.

AtlantaBridal.com is dedicated to serving the community through fundraisers like this. Please check back for future gown sale dates or visit the Making Memories Web site for more information.

"My daughter, Emily, purchased her wedding gown when your tour was in Atlanta last year...I wish I could adequately express how thankful we are that we purchased Emily’s gown through your organization. There were so many beautiful gowns to choose from and volunteers who could provide expert advice. Emily was very pleased with her selection and the environment in which it was made. The fact that the money spent on the gown was used to fulfill a dream for someone terminally ill with breast cancer gave the gown extra special meaning. Emily and those of us with her still carry warm and happy memories of the day we selected her wedding gown. Thank you again for making this possible..."
