About Us

At the end of a winding drive, situated above Mars Hill Road, the Athens area’s newest event facility- Marswood Hall- looks out over the rolling hills of Oconee County. The serenity of the location is mirrored within, in an elegantly understated ballroom and chapel available for private parties as well as public events. Marswood Hall is in the unique position of providing a tastefully designed ballroom which seats 300 people and features atmospheric lighting— ideal for receptions, business meetings or formal events. The permanent dance floor adds versatility without extra cost, and convenient on-site parking is complimentary. In addition, the spacious, attractive foyer is perfect for pre-function events and meeting registration, and the Bride’s Room offers traditional elegance which lends the perfect backdrop to pictures of the bride’s special day.

Marswood Hall is proud to offer a list of preferred caterers for your event. Service personnel are provided to set up your event and manage any after party responsibilities to ensure complete enjoyment of your time at Marswood Hall. Whether you are planning a wedding, formal dance, office party, tailgate party, or business meeting, Marswood Hall can meet your needs in affordable style and a convenient, stress-free environment.
