Following is a list of questions you should ask your reception site coordinator prior to signing a contract:

• What is the rental fee?
• How many guests can the site accommodate?
• How many hours does the fee include?
• Are there any overtime charges?
• What exactly is included in the fee?
• Do you provide tables, chairs, linens, china and silver?
• Are these items included in the rental fee?
• Can you accommodate bands?
• If so, are there any extra charges for the use of a piano and/or a dance floor?
• Is the rental fee discounted on certain days of the week or times of year?
• Do you provide a coat check service and is it included in the rental fee?
• Do you provide parking and/or valet parking and is it included in the rental fee?
• Will you be handling the clean-up and is it included in the rental fee?
• Is liability insurance (including liquor liability) included in the rental fee?
• What type of deposit do you require?
• What is your cancellation policy?
• If the reception is outdoors, are there heaters and lights?
• If the reception is outdoors, can any outdoor area be tented?
• If the reception is outdoors, is there an alternative location that can accommodate the guests in the event of bad weather?
• Do you provide catering or can we choose an outside caterer?
• Do you have a list of preferred caterers?
• What type of kitchen facilities do you have?
• Do you have any restrictions on alcohol?
• Can we bring in our own liquor?
• If site provides the liquor, what is the per person or per drink charge?
• Can the site be used for both the ceremony and the reception?
• Are there any music restrictions?
• Are there any restrictions on photography or video cameras?
