If you have ever attended a wedding reception or party, you know that the entertainment will make it or break it. This element of our reception has been extremely high on our priorities list. We were looking for someone who would help us make our reception like a party we would throw, not a standard cookie cutter "wedding reception".

To find a DJ, I used AtlantaBridal.com's list of local disc jockeys. First, I visited everyone's Web site. I closely read their descriptions, song lists and testimonials. I was looking for certain elements and when I found them I made a list, called each DJ and narrowed it down, easily, to Bryan Durio at Rock Around the Clock.

Bryan's style is exactly what we had been looking for, to make our reception a reflection of us. We wanted someone to direct the evening, without props or games. We needed someone who would let our friends and family create the party on their own, without rigid direction, but who could guide the flow of events.

When I interviewed him, he stated this several times and even now through the planning process, I can't even count the amount of times he said to me "Hey! It's your wedding! Whatever you want!" Music to my ears!

In addition to that, I insisting on being involved in the play list planning and I had specific requests. Bryan has accommodated every single request, with pleasure. Each conversation we have is fantastic. We end up talking for an hour, cracking up while tossing out ideas and songs and generally, getting to know each other. It has been a wonderful and enjoyable collaboration.

Bryan, David and I met to map out a schedule of events, pick some songs and just chat. Bryan's core reason for this first meeting was to get to know us and to find out what we were looking for so he could customize the evening to fit our needs. If you select Bryan to be your DJ, he will be a chameleon to what YOU want!

Another great perk about working with Bryan is that he has an online song database on his Web site. It is AMAZING. You can create several song lists, including, Do Play, Must Play and DO NOT PLAY from thousands of songs. You can work on it continuously through your planning process! It has happened to all of us, when you are trying to think of the name of a song or artist at one split second when it comes to mind. With the online database, just put in one key word and you can find it! It has been a GREAT help and organizer for us.

I am confident that Bryan is the perfect fit for us and will help create a successful evening. He is a pleasure to work with and talk to. He is always flexible, open to suggestions, will offer tons himself and frankly he knows every single song ever made! I can start to name a song I am looking for and he will tell me who the artist is and even sing a little. It is great!
