We wanted to interview 3 or 4 disc jockeys for our wedding. We selected 4 from AtlantaBridal.com and started calling.

We first contacted Chuck Weirich of Classified Events because he had expressed interest in our wedding to Lei Lydle of AtlantaBridal.com. When we called Chuck, he was already booked but he recommended another AtlantaBridal.com Preferred Disc Jockey, Bill Hanna of A+ DJ & Video Services.

We were considering calling Bill Hanna anyway so with both a recommendation from Lei and a recommendation from another DJ, we had a good feeling about Bill before we even interviewed him.

We also interviewed two other disc jockeys in addition to Bill. One of the disc jockeys asked that we meet him at a coffee shop and the other had us come to his home for the interview. While we were there, this disc jockey performed for us - it was a little intimidating.

Bill, on the other hand, was awesome. We liked him immediately because he was extremely accommodating. We didn't have to go meet him anywhere... he came to our house.

Bill was very prepared at our meeting. He brought his laptop with him so he could let us listen to different samples of music and was really interested in our ideas. He didn't try to tell us how we were "supposed" to do it like one of the others did. Instead, he gave us a guideline of what we could do, but he really let us run with our own ideas.

With music everybody has a very strong opinion and he really gave us the freedom to express who we are through the music that we choose. And he really helped guide us in the right direction as to what would really work for our ceremony and reception. (Since we are getting married at Park Tavern, we need music for both the ceremony and the reception).

Another plus, his wife can videotape the wedding so we could take care of two services at once. And the price for both was a great deal!

In the end, we liked the other disc jockeys but we decided to go with Bill because he was very professional and he seemed to be the most in tune with our desires. He was also by far the most accommodating.
