After we were chosen for the Showcase Wedding, Lei (from AtlantaBridal.com) invited me to a bridal event that was held at the Park Tavern. During the event, a table with the most beautiful floral arrangements and unique decorative accessories caught my eye. I immediately walked over to the table and started speaking with Monique from Awesome Blossoms.

I was very impressed with her knowledge as well as the sample bouquets and photos that she had with her. She's got a real flare for the details. After meeting with her for quite a while I took her card and told her I would call her to schedule an appointment.

A few weeks later Steve and I met with Monique to go over the details of our wedding and to decide whether or not we wanted to sign a contract. During our consultation I realized that Monique has a knack for being able to assess her clients' personalities and identify the flowers that will best represent those personalities while matching the chosen colors and attire. After meeting us and hearing us describe our color scheme, she presented us with several ideas that we loved. It was as if she had known us for years! We decided to sign a contract.

Obviously we haven't seen the actual flowers yet but we hired Awesome Blossoms to supply my bridal bouquet, the bridesmaids' bouquets, the boutonnieres, the table centerpieces, as well as an arrangement for the buffet and the archway for the ceremony.

Since it is an October wedding we are sticking with Fall colors. Our bouquets and arrangements will be made up of flame calla lilies with Hypericum berries, roses and a variety of other flowers in fall colors - yellows and red and oranges. I am trusting Monique to just run with it and I know it is going to be amazing.
