About Us

The Bradford House and Gardens, a full service, “up-scale” facility unsurpassed in style and beauty, is available for the most elegant of events.

This charming Southern Plantation style home accommodates 250 guests and features large open rooms, elegantly furnished and decorated with antiques and reproductions in rich hardwoods.

On the main level there is a large reception room which will accommodate a variety of gatherings such as meetings, reunions, and weddings/receptions. With nearly 3500 square feet of space, there is room for formal or casual dining, dancing, or other activities. This area features a fireplace and an open staircase that provides visual openness between rooms. A parlor and a tap room provide space for more intimate gatherings. Upstairs, there are spacious, comfortable dressing rooms and restrooms for the Bride and Groom, and their attendants.

As you leave the reception room through double French doors you step onto a large deck overlooking beautifully landscaped gardens and natural areas. From the garden you proceed down a winding walkway which leads to a lovely, large gazebo.

The garden, lush with foliage and landscaped to bloom year-round serves to extend your event outdoors. These outdoor “rooms” provide a serene sitting area where one can enjoy the sounds of nature and the gentle sound of water cascading from two fountains. In the center of the gardens there is a small gazebo that can beautifully accommodate beverages, snacks, or a wedding cake, draped for your “unveiling.” From the garden, a landscaped walkway leads to a stunning 1800 square foot Gazebo which accommodates up to 250 guests. The Gazebo is a beautiful site, set in a densely wooded, natural setting for weddings and other activities such as rehearsal dinners, banquets, meetings, retreats… all types of celebrations and other events… It features an arbor with ferns, palms, foliage, a professional sound system, a power source for musicians, soft party lighting, and overhead fans for those warm Southern evenings.
