About Us

The historic John Oliver Michael House is a charming 20th farmhouse surrounded by beautiful oaks. Sitting atop a knoll bordered by its' own farmland of forty acres, it offers a very peaceful and private atmosphere for any occasion.

Our brides and grooms are very special to us. They have allowed us the opportunity to prepare for them a "Memory of a Lifetime". We take that very seriously and we deliver exactly what we promise to every bride and groom.

Our home, our location and our service is as unique as you, your fiance' and the wedding you have always dreamed of. It is for that reason we have chosen to host one wedding per day or per weekend. This allows us the time necessary to pay close attention to every detail of your wedding and to give all our attention to you, your family and your guests.

You may provide your own caterer, florist, musicians, etc. Or, at your request we can provide those vendors for you. This gives you the opportunity to be as involved as you wish in the preparations of your wedding or you can simply sit back and let one of our highly recommended vendors make all the preparations for you. When you make an appointment with us we will listen to all your wedding plans and share witih you ideas as to how the John Oliver Michael House can become a beautiful wedding location for you.

Our goal is to provide for you a private and tranquil environment surrounded by elements of nature. Our desire is that you will leave with wonderful memories of your time spent here. We feel that the John Oliver Michael House has much to offer and we want the opportunity to share with you our past and our future.
