Okay, friends, we’re taking a quick detour from Atlanta Weddings today.
You know AtlantaBridal is usually all about weddings and venues right here at home, but this little Halloween wedding update crossed my desk, and I couldn’t keep it to myself. Because apparently, in Las Vegas, you can walk down the aisle and find Michael Myers waiting to perform your ceremony.
Yes, that Michael Myers.
If your idea of romance involves horror movie marathons, black roses and a shared appreciation for things that go bump in the night, these Halloween wedding packages might be your kind of happily ever after.
At Lucky Little Wedding Chapel, the Love Potion No. 9 package brings the Halloween atmosphere with a themed floral arch, spooky décor, a black veil rental and themed props. Bouquet and boutonniere rentals and a holiday-inspired unity sand or candle ceremony round out the mood.
The package is listed at $999 for up to 26 guests, with a licensed officiant, two custom songs, professional photography and videography among the inclusions.
Want something more specific? The chapel also creates custom celebrations inspired by favorite movies and characters. One Beetlejuice-inspired wedding incorporated coordinated florals, a themed aisle runner, bug décor and a sandworm-inspired detail.
Now there’s a wedding theme that gives your florist something interesting to work with.
The historic Little Church of the West is embracing the season with its Till Death Do Us Part package. Couples can choose a traditional minister, Elvis, Johnny Cash or a zombie minister.
Personally, I feel like the zombie brings a whole new layer to those vows.
The $1,099 package features black baccara roses or deep purple calla lilies, special venue décor and Halloween-inspired entrance and exit music. It also includes a heart-shaped wedding cake, professional photography with all images, and a ceremony video download.
Dark florals, a little cake and an undead officiant. Someone out there has just found their dream wedding.
Then there’s Our Killer Wedding at The Little Vegas Chapel.
For $719, couples can have a Michael Myers-themed ceremony inside the Imperial Chapel, with room for up to 24 guests. The experience includes an eight- to 12-minute ceremony, posed photos with Michael Myers, a dark rose bouquet and matching boutonniere, professional photography and a private online gallery.
You can choose themed music or two songs of your own.
Imagine sending those wedding photos to relatives who thought you were “just having a small ceremony in Vegas.”
Even if a Vegas wedding isn’t on your calendar, there’s something fun to borrow from all this: permission to let your wedding reflect what you both love.
For a Georgia celebration, that might mean deep purple flowers, a black veil, a subtly spooky cake or a few nods to the movie you watched on your first date. You can take the theme as far as you like, whether that’s candlelit gothic romance or a full horror fan celebration.
