How do you get from corporate America to wedding ceremonies?
Rick will tell you life should be about doing what you enjoy, not just making money. After leaving the international business life behind in 2004, Rick “retired” to North Georgia to assist his wife Cyndi in her fledgling wedding business… Cavender Castle.
Over the next couple of years Rick observed other ministers and officiants as they conducted weddings at Cavender Castle. With his background of sales and public speaking, Rick was amazed at how boring most of the ceremonies were. And, worse than that, most officiants did nothing to personalize their ceremony for the couple they were marrying. He knew he could do better.
So Rick did his homework and became an ordained a non-denominational minister.
Through that process he learned not only how to make a marriage legal, but how to make the ceremony touching, memorable, and unique to each couple.
