Couples looking for a ballroom wedding venue in Downtown Atlanta have a new option: the Grand Ballroom at 207 Peachtree. Its opening was announced on September 29, 2026, adding a historic setting for weddings and celebrations to the city’s newest dining and entertainment destination.
The 10,000-square-foot ballroom occupies the second floor of a 1920s building at Peachtree Street and Andrew Young International Boulevard. Designed by Atlanta architecture firm Pringle & Smith, the building originally housed Regenstein’s Department Store. A $10.5 million modernization preserved its historic character while bringing the property into a new chapter.
Inside, couples will find restored hardwood floors, 14-foot ceilings, crystal chandeliers and expansive original windows overlooking Downtown. A large stationary bar anchors the room, while nine oversized artworks highlight Atlanta landmarks and cultural moments.
The opening announcement describes the ballroom as accommodating 300+ guests. The 207 Peachtree website lists up to 300, so couples should confirm the capacity for their planned reception layout. Full-service catering, event staffing, AV capabilities, lighting packages, equipment rentals and customizable bar setups are available.
The ballroom is part of the 45,000-square-foot 207 Peachtree destination, which also includes Red Phone Booth, Amalfi Cucina + Mercato, Peachtree Sporting Club and American Dive. These neighboring concepts offer private and semi-private event options that may suit additional wedding weekend gatherings.
The Ritz-Carlton Atlanta and Westin Peachtree Plaza are nearby, and public parking decks are within walking distance, including one at 28 Andrew Young International Boulevard NE.
