Our experience with Glendalough Manor was exceptional! When my husband and I started our search for a place to have our wedding, Glendalough Manor was our 3rd stop. We of course wanted to find the best place for us and our budget. As we arrived we noted the warm greeting, from each introduction as we got started with our tour, which was great. The clearly exceptional part was our coordinator, Ms. Amy was not only interested in our plans but also truly interested in our story. After sharing our story, we could feel her passion, and she was clearly happy to learn of our experience. She went on to share related insights which created a high level of comfort with her, the process and the journey ahead. Frankly at that point, we knew we wanted to have our wedding there. As we went on to learn more of the details we were not only clear on the expectations and requirements, but we were delighted to learn it all was within our budget! Of course, a projection is just that, however it turned out to be spot on and we couldn’t be happier. I’m ahead of myself, in not sharing first our wedding was Fantastic, from start to finish. The grounds are stunning and designed just for weddings. Our wedding was in November, and Glendalough Manor was ready to create our dream of an outdoor wedding or indoors if needed depending on the weather. As it turns out, after 3 days of rain and cold weather before our wedding day, the weather changed and our day was a beautiful sun shiny day! Thank you God and thank you Ms. Amy and Jena at Glendalough Manor for an experience of a lifetime.

Glendalough Manor is the perfect wedding Venue. The gardens is breathtaking. The professionalism of staff was greatly appreciated. From the beginning of planning with Amy to finalizing every single detail with Jena my entire experience was beyond measurable. You ladies made sure our day was amazing! I want to thank all the staff that helped make our wedding & reception a night to remember...Amy, Jena, Mrs. Carolyn, Brittany, Penny and Barbie. We couldn’t have done it without any of you. Chef Raymond and staff the food was delicious and the service was great. Thank you all for being apart of our Wedding Team.

I'm the MOB. I fell in love with this venue before I stepped on the property. I fell in love with it more after the tour, and meeting Amy. I told them I had more venues to check out, but I didnt. I had made up my mind. This wedding was for my only child, only daughter. It had to be done right!

The staff of Glendalough Manor made the process so easy! (Hit the EASY button) Always smiling, always pleasant! Always had a fix for any issues. (Hit the EASY button) Jena was calming during the meetings and on the wedding day. I was confident in her.

I was completely relaxed and laid back on special day because it was a wedding, not a funeral, and these ladies had it all under control! If I had to plan another wedding I would do it right here at Glendalough Manor, but someone else would have to pay for it!

We had an amazing experience with Glendalough Manor from our first tour to our reception night. The staff's friendliness, responsiveness, and professionalism were all very calming and impressive. The beauty of the grounds and facility were breathtaking. We were in awe on our reception night. We highly recommend Glendalough Manor for your wedding or other special event.

Seamless experience - made wedding planning easy!

Glendalough Manor is a beautiful venue with a high skilled and experienced team. They are very efficient and take the guess work out of wedding planning. The food was fantastic and there’s a larger variety of options to choose from. Day of team was on point. All in all an enjoyable experience from start to finish!

I had my ceremony and reception here and it was amazing! Amy, Jena, Sara, and Courtni are just a few people I can think of off the top of my head that just went above and beyond making sure every part of my wedding was executed perfectly! Glendalough provides you with a list of their top vendors and you can even set up meetings at Glendalough with the vendors which was super convenient. They have catering in-house which usually you think of wedding food as not so great, but their food is excellent! They have an amazing bar. The venue is gorgeous! I had my ceremony outside under the pergola with all of the beautiful flowers. My reception was inside in the Wicklow ballroom which has a huge dance floor and plenty of space! The decorations are gorgeous! My guests could not stop talking about how beautiful the space was and how amazing the food was! I was never stressed at all planning my wedding because they have all the resources there that you could ever need! I recommend this venue to anyone that doesn't want to be stressed out planning their wedding because I cannot thank Glendalough enough for making my dream wedding so stress free and easy!

Everyone at Glendalough was fantastic to work with! Jena was extremely responsive along the way, working with us on all the details. Sarah and Courtney did a great job handling the ceremony, and our Event Director made the reception run very smoothly. One of my biggest criteria was selecting a venue that would handle all the day-of details so it would be low stress for me - they absolutely delivered. I did not worry about ANYTHING from the second i arrived until we made our departure! The grounds are beautiful, the ballrooms are gorgeous and the food was AMAZING! Luckily for us, there was not another wedding on our day so we did not experience having an overlap in weddings and other guests in the bar area. The bar is gorgeous also - I would have preferred having the bar right in the ballroom so that guests were centralized in one area; however, i think some of our guests enjoyed being able to hang out in the bar area. Overall, Glendalough Manor was the perfect choice of venue - and is a superb value for the money!

From Day 1, Glendalough has been my venue of choice! This venue allows you to express your own individual style and is not the cookie-cutter event venue that leaves little room to show your own individuality. It didn't hurt that the staff was accommodating and prompt. I enjoyed working with Jena and Amy. They responded to my emails throughout the process. Also, the day of wedding planners were friendly and structured. Now on to the venue. Everyone had wonderful things to say about the outdoor ceremony setup. It truly lends itself to little (or no) decoration, with beautiful blossoms and a pristine lake in the background! The reception area was breathtaking! Glendalough did an excellent job setting it up just as I envisioned. It was themed a "Royal affair", and they made me (and my husband) feel like royalty!

Jena & her team was amazing! All of our wedding guests are still talking about how amazing the place looked! We decided to go with Glendalough Manor because it was a one stop shop for us and we had help with everything, every step of the way.

I had my wedding here two weeks ago, and everything turned out amazing. You won't go wrong picking Glendalough Manor. The food was great and everything was well organized. It's a one stop shop. My florist and decor came out perfect. Hands down the best wedding venue in metro Atlanta. Brides you won't go wrong!

This is the ONLY place anyone should ever consider. Working with the entire staff was perfect from beginning to end! They took every bit of the stress off of us! They definitely have it going on!!! My daughter wants to do it again and again!! This was the magical fairytale wedding I have dreamed of since the day she was born! Thank you all so much! I will miss talking to y'all and coming to Glendalough, but I will never forget you. Love you, Amy, Jenna, and Pennie!!

My husband and I were married at this beautiful venue on 8 October 2017. The manor, the gardens, the ballroom, etc. are breathtaking, but I honestly think the people who work here made our wedding. I started planning my wedding 2 years in advance and from across the country. Even with all of that planning, I couldn't control the weather. The force of Hurricane Nate made its way on the day of our wedding. The staff kept me completely calm through the entire process. To stay inside or go with our plan for an outdoor wedding? Despite the rain, we opted to have the ceremony outside. It was magical. I had a team making sure I didn't get drenched while ensuring nothing obscured my moment of walking down that aisle. Pennie, David and I truly cannot thank you enough for everything you did to make our day perfect. Our guests still compliment our special day, and that's due to you. A smile never left your face even when you were helping hold umbrellas while getting soaked for our pictures! Our experience at Glendalough Manor will forever be one of our most cherished memories!

I want to give this place 10 stars! I can't say enough good things about Glendalough Manor. From the day we toured the grounds with Amy we were sold. They are so extremely organized and will work with you on absolutely anything. First, the grounds themselves are beautiful, almost like a secret garden hidden behind a beautiful manor. You don't even need ceremony decor, their outdoor pergola and grounds crew keep the place so beautiful. Second, working with Pennie was an absolute treat. They treat you like one of the family and are so accommodating. Everything is on a pretty strict schedule but they've learned this is the best way to keep the show moving and it's absolutely true. We stuck roughly to the schedule and had plenty of time to mingle with our guests. If I could do it all over again I would without a doubt choose this venue and the team we worked with. My only regret is that our reception wasn't longer so that we could spend even more time with family and friends and that I won't be on a weekly chatting basis with Pennie anymore. I will recommend this place to everyone I can, 10 out of 5 stars!!!

Words can't express the gratitude I feel after having our wedding at Glendalough! I viewed many venues after my fiance Clarence proposed to me in August of 2016. When I arrived at Glendalough and met Amy, I knew this place was going to be magical! Jena and Pennie are heaven sent! I'm a very particular bride and anything I suggested or wanted to change was met with understanding and flexibility from this team. I can't thank you all enough! My guests are still ranting and raving about how beautiful the property grounds are, how great the food was and how good the drinks were. My guests had an amazing time and that's satisfying to any bride! Jena, thank you for suggesting Pastor Murkison as our officiant. We did our pre-martial counseling through them and we absolutely enjoyed every minute of it! Pennie, thank you for allowing me to be me and accepting my last minute changes with no hesitation. Future brides: please listen to me when I say if you are looking for a wedding venue on the south side of Atlanta, Glendalough is it! You will not and I repeat "will not" be disappointed. These ladies run a tight ship and because of that, it takes a lot of stress off the bride in regards to planning. Their preferred vendors are amazing as well. For florals, I went with Ciao Bella Weddings. Nikki, the owner, she gets it! She did a fantastic job on our room design and brought my vision to life! Kate, from Blackbird Photography, was a pleasure to work with. If you want specific looks/poses, just email her some samples of what you're looking for and she'll execute your photo visions to a tee! October 6, 2017 was THE BEST day of my life and this is all because of the way I was treated by this lovely staff! Not only is this venue beautiful but the team is fantastic! My husband and I got married on 11/05/16 and it was the best experience! I cannot say enough nice things about this group. Amy, Jena, and Pennie are out of this world amazing. They really made everything so effortless and seamless. Unlike many of my friends and family, I CAN remember everything from my wedding. It was so stress free thanks to these ladies- especially Pennie! There's lots of local hotels that offer free shuttles! The food and drinks at Glendalough are awesome! Just take a tour and you'll be sold. We visited 10+ venues before seeing Glendalough as our final location.

From the time I set foot on the property at glendalough I knew it was exactly where I wanted to get married.The wedding coordinators, Pennie and Jena, make sure every detail of your special day is planned out and runs smooth. Vendor day was great for me because since I didn't live in Georgia, I was able to come and book all my vendors in one day. I love that glendalough does not require you to use their vendors but they give you a list of vendors that they recommend and after meeting with most of them I feel that they all are very affordable. Our wedding was a wedding out of a fairytale book.

Wowwwwww!!! My first impression was that the building was gorgeous and then the ballroom was even better! I was so impressed with the staff. When you arrive and book your date you automatically get a wedding coordinator for Glendalough that is included in the price. They made everything so seamless they even had someone come to the church which was not even at Glendalough to make sure everything ran extra smooth. Glendalough really makes you feel comfortable and at ease and there was never a time where I was second guessing my decision. The place was great, the onsite DJ was great, food was great, bar was great...I really have no complaints at all. I really recommend Glendalough to anyone wanting a hassle free wedding with a pretty affordable price tag.

My daughter and son-in-law were married on September 18, 2010 at Glendalough Manor and WE have had thank you notes sent to US from the guests at the wedding for having such a beautiful ceremony and a wonderful party. I would highly recommend Glendalough for your wedding event simply because they are well-organized, caring, intelligent people who are there to make your wedding be the most wonderful day of the bride's life. My experience with ALL of the people that work there has been one that I, as the mother of the bride, will never forget. My daughter and I have just been amazed at the kind, caring manner of all of the people at Glendalough. THANK YOU ALL, YOU ARE AWESOME!!!!.

My husband and i were married 05/06/10 everything was perfect. The people at Glendalough were so organized. I purchased my wedding dress from Etain bridal which is on the same street as Glendalough. the day of the wedding my dress was pressed and brought over to the dressing room. It was nothing less than perfect. My husband is from Atlanta, I am from Canada and was studying in TN at the time. We decided to have the wedding in GA. Having to travel was a pain but the people there were so helpful. my family obviously traveled a long way for the wedding and they were amazed. Each package comes with a wedding planner which saved me, i really don't know how it would have turned out without her. The vendors were fabulous. I used blueberry springs for my flowers which were amazing.The food was fabulous the venue beautiful, and i had the time of my life.
