1947 Waterside, is a contemporary yet classic facility with an open and inviting interior. With the ability to handle receptions and events anywhere from 50-300 people, on-site parking and easy access to Atlanta and Athens, 1947 Waterside is the perfect venue for your wedding or event.

Larger weddings are often held on the lawn or in the private garden. The manor can accommodate up to 200 guests for cocktail reception, 100 for an indoor seated dinner, and up to 250 for an outdoor tented wedding reception.

9 Oaks Farm is located in rural Good Hope, Georgia. It is only 20 minutes away from Athens and a short drive from Atlanta, making it a good location for any special occasion. The authentic 1900′s barn has been renovated into the perfect place for any wedding or special occasion from rustic to elegant. 9 Oaks includes an Entrance Hall, Reception Barn, Bridal Suite and multiple outdoor ceremony locations. With so many options, you can create your dream wedding day. 9 Oaks Farm can seat 250 guests with indoor seating only and 300+ guests with indoor and outdoor seating.

THE HOTEL
The Hotel features 122 authentically Athens boutique-style guest rooms including a bar and music venue, and Iron Works Coffee bar located in the lobby. THE FOUNDRY MUSIC VENUE
The Foundry Music venue is not only the Southeast’s premiere living room for national, regional and local artists and entertainment, but is also a perfect setting for a lively wedding reception. The adjoining Terrace gives the option of an outdoor ceremony. Design elements include multiple tiers, exposed brick, original masonry, various seating options and large overhead beams to create lively acoustics for the big day.

The Garden Courtyard brings together the rustic features of the building with the beauty of nature and urban horticulture for a romantic outdoor atmosphere. Barn doors open from The Parlor to Robertson Hall revealing walls of vintage brick and rustic wood. The Lyndon House Arts Center is available for rentals. Corporate events, family reunions, receptions, weddings,and other events can be accommodated at this beautiful facility.

Just three miles from downtown Athens, Ga., the State Botanical Garden of Georgia at the University of Georgia offers a variety of venues suitable for weddings and other special events. The Taylor-Grady House is an elegant venue for receptions or events of nearly any size. Larger weddings are often held on the back lawn or at the boxwood garden. The house can accommodate up to 350 guests for indoor-outdoor events, 150 for an indoor reception, 65 for an indoor seated dinner, and up to 100 guests for an indoor wedding.

Your rental includes exclusive use of the house and grounds on the day of your event, 200 white resin folding chairs, twelve round 60" tables, eighteen banquette tables 8' long, and two bar tables. The Dormitory is a historic event venue located in the downtown area of Auburn, Georgia. This unique building was constructed in 1888 and was formerly used as a women's dormitory for the Perry - Rainey College, which is no longer standing. The Dormitory has been meticulously restored by the City of Auburn and renovated with the goal of maintaining its historic characteristics and charm. Bring you own caterer and alcohol.
